The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and understanding as well as skills in determining the health status of animals to be slaughtered during Eid al-Adha so that meat meets the requirements of "ASUH" (Safe, Healthy, Whole and Halal. One of the important requirements for livestock that can be used as a sacrificial animal is healthy. The lack of preparation, knowledge and skills of students involved in examining sacrificial animals is felt by the veterinary medical assistant who accompanies students. Therefore it is necessary to implement planned steps to assist students before participating in the examination of sacrificial animals to increase knowledge and skills. Examination of sacrificial animals carried out includes antemortem and postmortem examinations. Final results students help carry out the examination and veterinary medical officers provide decision recommendations (whether the livestock is suitable for slaughter or not and/or whether it can be consumed or not). Based on the results of the assistance It can be concluded that this activity really needs to be done to increase knowledge and skills in examining sacrificial animals.
