Pelatihan Pembuatan Silase Hijauan di Kelompok Tani-Ternak Ora Et Labora Kelurahan Naioni Kota Kupang

The purpose of this training activity for the farmer group of Ora Et Labora at Naioni Village, Kupang, was to improve the skills of the farmers to conserve forage in the form of silage in order to improve the utilization and nutritive value of the ruminant feeds. Several steps were followed during this training including socialization, materials preparation, training, and evaluation. Results of the training activity showed that the member of the farmer group were very interested on the technology regarding feed conservation in the form of silage. The trainees were showing their improved skill in silage making. The members of Ora Et Labora farmer group were very sure that the technology of forage conservation and treatment can be applied to solve the problem of dry season feed scarcity.
