JPUNC menggunakan sistem LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, dan PKP PN untuk membuat sistem pengarsipaan terdistribusi diantara perpustakaan yang berpartisipasi dan mengizinkan perpustakaan tersebut membuat arsip permanen jurnal untuk tujuan pelestarian dan restorasi. 

JPUNC uses the LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and PKP PN systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows these libraries to create permanent archives of journals for preservation and restoration purposes.
